Hello there - great site and very informative piece on Popol Vuh. I was wondering whether somebody might be able to help. There is a lovely piece of Swiss yodelling music at the very start of the film Heart of Glass (Werner Herzog mentions this in his talkover). Is there any way of finding out if this music is commercially available? Thanks. |

Recently watched the Werner Herzog film series on BBC4. As a result, got Aguirre and Nosfeatu soundtracks. Not heard any Popol Vuh before but have been listening to various German bands of the 1970s for about 30 years (Tangerine Dream, Amon Duul II, Ashra, Michael Hoenig, Klaus Schulze etc). |
